Make My Day Cooking Lab was established in 2015. Wayne is our main chef/instructor, who started learning and cooking when he lived in Melbourne as an overseas student. He gained various cooking experiences culturally and technically, he’s main expertise is Italian cuisine and Taiwanese home cuisine. At first, we only have classes for Taiwanese people teaching Italian dishes such as pasta, risotto, ravioli, steak and salads.
In late 2016, we designed a cooking class specifically for tourists. We interpret the meaning of “cultural exchange” into something more precise and valuable. We think not only cooking Taiwanese dishes is a must-do activity, but taking a stroll in a crowded traditional daily fresh market, and shop and eat like local, as well as having a long pervasive conversation over the meal with the cooking teacher. Since then, we have received travelers, bloggers and foodies from all over the world and gradually built our reputation.
